 Programmer:

Analyze, design, code, and test computer programs; modify existing programs and coordinate implementation with application user staff; maintain existing systems. Assist in performing review of user specifications and the development of data processing systems documentation. (3 years experience minimum)

 Sr. Programmer:

Analyze, design, code, and test computer programs; modify existing programs and coordinate implementation with application user staff; maintain existing systems. Assist in performing review of user specifications and the development of data processing systems documentation. (5 years experience minimum)

 Programmer / Analyst:

Assist in development of user and program module specifications; participate in the development of data processing systems documentation. Analyze, design, code, and test computer programs; modify existing programs and coordinate implementation with application user staff; maintain existing systems. (8 years experience minimum)

 Analyst:

Analyze existing organization systems and procedures; Assist, advise, and provide peripheral system support; Develop user and/or program module specifications; Participate in the development of data processing systems documentation; Review and evaluate work of subordinate personnel. (5 years experience minimum)

 Sr. Analyst:

Analyze existing organization systems and procedures; assist and advise less experienced personnel in developing solutions to complex programming challenges. Develop user and program module specifications; participate in the development of data processing systems documentation. Review and evaluate work of programming personnel. Plans, schedules, and assigns projects to programming personnel. Provides technical advice and assistance to management and technical personnel in matters relating to system development and programming activity. Assist less experienced analysts in development of data processing solutions. (8 years experience minimum)

 Database Administrator:

Performs database administration, including design, development and population of databases, file management, security management, availability management and performance tuning.

 Database Consultant:

Performs professional and complex technical work providing assistance in the planning, development, maintenance, and monitoring of an integrated database system which contains multiple applications consisting of diverse data sets, and provides concurrent accessibility of the database by multiple users in the client organization. Work involves consulting with programmer/analysts to assure that the conceptual and design phases of the new applications are consistent with the structural parameters within the database environment. Performs data modeling and prototyping. Maintains data dictionary ensuring uniformity of definitions and sets standards for use of data dictionary. (5 years experience minimum)

 Sr. Database Consultant:

Performs highly responsible administrative, managerial and complex technical work providing assistance in the effective and efficient storage, retrieval, customizing and archiving of data by managing diverse data sets to assure an integrated database system for all users. Responsible for developing database policies and procedures and ensuring data integrity as maintenance and modification projects to existing applications are undertaken. Work involves the supervision and direction of the entire database function and staff within a client site. (8 years experience minimum)

 Systems Project Manager:

Responsible for hands-on planning, scheduling, and coordinating duties of the project team members. (5 years experience minimum)

 Terms and Conditions

(1) Service rates listed in this catalogue are subject to modification by an authorized representative of Capitol Consulting Services

(2) Service rates are on a "per hour" basis for the hours or 8:00 am to 5:00 p.m. Any service performed outside of these hours must have the prior approval of the client agency, and will be billed at the standard rate listed in the service contract.

(3) Any travel or lodging per diem must be approved in advance by the client agency and will be billed at actual cost within State of Texas guidelines.

 Service Support

Should a client ever have difficulty with a CCS consultant, simply call our offices and inform us. We will make our best effort to work out the issue with the employee. If the situation remains unsatisfactory and CCS is notified, CCS will replace the consultant with another to the client’s complete satisfaction within 90 days or the contract is void. All documentation developed by consultants in support of their work at a client's site belongs solely to the client.
